A journey into the minefield that makes today’s combat veteran

DarkCast is intended to shine a light on the mental, physical, and life challenges brought on to individuals from various traumas sustained while serving in the armed forces.

DarkCast is hosted by Shea Gehring, a combat veteran himself from Iraq in the mid 2000s.  Shea speaks to his own life and struggles from both reintegration and dealing with post-traumatic mental health and the issues navigating today’s system of poor support.
The show will include guest speakers, both combat veterans and civilians as well and themed on how to better understand some raw stories to allow listeners to better understand “what makes PTSD tick”.
